BAU TLV hotel is a boutique hotel located in the center of Tal-Aviv at a building intended for preservation. This building we are converting to a 46 room hotel with 18 suits.
Studio gad used the buildings spaces in order to create public areas that will serve the hotel guests. The hotel will preserve the characteristics of the building in the exterior, elevation of the building. Nevertheless the hotel will be a modern and unique for the public that are, and intended to be, part of the heart of Tel-Aviv. The hotel will have as well, a coffee restaurant a bar, and a pool on the roof. The hotel will create interaction between the hotel guests, in it´s public areas.
The spaces are designed as night and day spaces, trying to a link to the nightly activities that are around in the streets surrounding the building.
The sleeping areas are planed with great care, maximizing the rooms that are limited in size.
The corridors are defined by us as "non dimensional", which the light will be supervised, and the person walking in them will experience what the designers wanted to light up.
